Moreover, English is often not the official language but the language of business in many countries. According to a recent study, over 56% of all internet pages are written in English. Approximately 75% of all scientific literature is in English. Almost everywhere in the world, most people speak at least some English, so you can ‘get by’ almost anywhere. English will remain the most important language of the global economy for a long time and will help you during any holiday. What can you expect from this interactive training? Cambridge English

With a Cambridge English certificate, you have a globally recognized credential that opens doors to English-speaking companies and universities! The Cambridge Certificate never expires and is valid for life. More than two million people across 130 countries have already obtained a Cambridge English certificate. Increasingly, companies, universities, and institutions require a Cambridge English Certificate as proof that someone can communicate in English at a certain level. If you speak perfect English, you have an advantage with many employers: the Netherlands, after all, relies on international trade, where your value as an employee increases if you can engage with business partners in English. If you wish to study in Australia, England, or the USA, a Cambridge certificate gives you an edge! There are 3 different levels at which the exam can be taken:

• FCE (First Certificate of English) If you can understand various texts, discuss a range of topics, and comprehend radio and TV programs, the FCE exam is suitable for you!
• CAE (Certificate of Advanced English) If you can effectively use English, communicate confidently in English in business or academic settings, and write clearly structured texts on complex subjects, you can take the CAE course and exam.
• CPE (Certificate of Proficiency English) If you can use English to advise or discuss complex topics and understand the underlying ideas and details of English documents, correspondence, and reports, you can take the CAE course and possibly the CPE exam. The Cambridge English exams are administered through the British Council, the official representative in the Netherlands for the University of Cambridge exams. These exams are held twice a year (December and June) at various locations in the Netherlands. Upon passing, the University of Cambridge issues a certificate that is recognized worldwide by universities, colleges, governments, and businesses. You also need English for phone calls, business conversations, receiving visitors, and some basic writing skills. In this practical training, you’ll improve your business English effectively. You’ll learn the language quickly and efficiently, allowing you to speak English with more confidence in your professional environment. We offer language training for a wide range of companies and participants from various professions, from accountants to helpdesk employees, and from engineers to sales managers. We take into account the wishes and needs of our clients. The programs we create and the materials we use are tailored to the field, company, and role of the participants.

• Target Audience The training is intended for anyone who encounters English in their job role.
• Outcome You will speak English with more confidence. You will learn to speak the language more fluently, and your listening skills will improve significantly. Your vocabulary will expand, and you will learn to use the language in both business interactions and social contexts, with a focus on your specific work situation.
• Methodology Before the training, an intake session takes place to outline your personal learning goals. Based on these goals, you will engage in interactive training with an experienced trainer. You will immediately apply what you’ve learned through challenging exercises. You’ll test your text comprehension, argue your opinion, or be asked to articulate something orally.
